PROBATE

Probate is the legal process by which a person’s final debts are settled and legal title to property is formally passed from the decedent to his or her beneficiaries and heirs. In general, the probate process involves collecting the decedent’s assets, liquidating liabilities, paying necessary taxes, and distributing the property to the heirs.
Our probate attorneys are experienced and have the resources necessary to take a Personal Representative/Executor through the entire probate during which the will is validated; the assets of the deceased are inventoried; all debts, creditor claims (including applicable lawsuits) and taxes are paid and then the remaining assets distributed to the beneficiaries and heirs.
